Professional development scholarships

MARSP supports career advancement for public school employees.

Public school retirees understand that while many working school employees want to develop their skills, they are often limited by the cost. In 1995, the MARSP Foundation started a scholarship fund to help alleviate some of that burden.

Scholarships of up to $1,000 are available to all public school employees, no matter their current position, as long as they pursuing career-advancing education opportunities. Scholarship grants are disbursed each July, usually for the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
